Well in today’s National Basketball Association (NBA) and over the last decade the argument critics have debated over is who is the better play, Kobe Bryant or Lebron James? Fans like myself have personally been involved in depth sometimes heated discussions with friends over this very topic. Who would you say is a better player, who would …show more content…

Kobe Bryant and Lebron James have had some enormous success in their careers in the basketball world, but as we compare the two to figure out which player you would want on your team the differences are there. When it comes down to the most valuable player in the league (MVP) which is by far the biggest individual accolade a player can receive Lebron James takes the cake on this one. Lebron James has won the MVP four times whereas Kobe Bryant has won this award twice. Both players have also been elected to numerous all star games, where Kobe has been elected to eighteen all star games in his twenty year NBA career setting a record. Lebron James has been elected to twelve all star games, where he will try to catch or surpass Kobe Bryant in the years to come if he plays as long as Kobe Bryant played. Kobe Bryant also takes the cake when it comes to scoring titles, all NBA first team selections, all NBA defensive teams. Although the money does not play a major role into deciding which players legacy is better, it tells us a lot about their individual brand. Kobe Bryant’s estate and net worth is greater than that of Lebron James coming in at 320 million dollars, whereas Lebron James is worth 267 million dollars. Both players are set for life, both being involved in investing their money

My brother Cam “thinks from the year of 2010-2011 that Derrick Rose is better because of the way he has pushed his team to 60 wins or more. Last season the Chicago Bulls was the number one seed in the NBA and following behind the Oklahoma Thunder in the second seed, because of Derrick Rose they were the number one seed in the Eastern Conference for two years and because of Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook and James Harden the Thunder was name the Western Conference number one seed.” This here shows you that Derrick Rose got all the credit while Russell Westbrook only get about twenty-five percent credit. “Derrick Rose is more clutch, because the ball is always in his hand when it comes down to winning a game but Westbrook on the other hand is the second option when it comes down to winning a game” Cam said, I told him that’s only because he have the scoring champ Kevin Durant which coach will always have the ball in Kevin Durant hands to make a play. “Derrick Rose has the ability to take over the game, by him being able to assist the ball he had to create more because of the lack of talent to take over games,” but every team has that guy who takes over the game and Derrick Rose is that guy for the Bulls but for Thunder Kevin Durant is the guy who takes over games and Westbrook steps up when he have to.…
