Both of these poems speak of death, but there is a big difference in the mood of the story they are portraying. In ‘Aunt Sarah Died One Summer Night’ her passing seems very peaceful, and she was at a good place in her life to be passing, whereas the child in ‘Dead Boy’ was so young, and had all of his life left to live. That story is very gloomy and depressing, as opposed to ‘Aunt Sarah...’ where everything seemed serine and happy.
