Introductory Summary

With such a huge event quickly approaching, our company understands there’s a long list of tasks to be done. Since food is one of the most important decisions to be made, I know that you would like to make a decision on a caterer as soon as possible. Catering large events is my company’s specialty, and we have been satisfying customers for the last ten years. It will be our pleasure to take care of the food at your upcoming wedding reception. We have serviced many other weddings in the area, and we would be glad to provide you with a list of reliable references.

Since you are anticipating having at least 300 guests attend your wedding, I feel safe in assuming that you would like for us to serve the guests while they are seated. Cochies Catering will supply the necessary number of staff members needed to do so. We will supply all of the food, as well as iced tea and coffee. There will be warmers for the hot foods, and serving trays for the cold foods. Our company will also supply all of the cups, silverware, napkins, and plates. Cochies Catering will perform the following steps: set up the tables and chairs the night before the event (if needed), prepare the food at our location, and set it up at your location to be ready 30 minutes before the event starts, serve the food, and clean up everything after the event is over.

TECHNICAL PROPOSAL

Hiring a caterer will keep you from becoming stressed to find someone to help or to keep yourself from running around trying to rent equipment, and make sure that you have everything you need. We supply everything ourselves, and we do all the work. For an event as large as yours, I would like to make a few suggestions; hot foods

The Catering Services industry has struggled during the past five years. Since 2008-09, a severe economic downturn has led businesses and households to spend less on catered events. Businesses faced with plunging profitability cut back sharply on catered events such as office parties, corporate seminars and product launches, and reduced average spend per head for events that did go ahead. The deteriorating consumer climate led consumers to put off discretionary events and choose to cater events themselves or spend less at a restaurant rather than use the industry 's services.…

As LUC students, we are very fortunate to have food readily available to us in the dining halls. The food options off campus around LUC are minimal, so it is ideal to have halls on campus that have different foods to choose from. These halls have many different problems surrounding the specific dining experience though, which affects current and prospective students, faculty, and staff. A recent article from the Phoenix reports that the hygiene of the dining hall employees has room for improvement. A student claimed, “he saw dining hall workers go out for a cigarette and come straight back to serving food” (Beckford 1). There have been reports of bugs in the salad bar and mold in the icemakers. Also, the dining halls have received lower levels on food inspections due to temperature problems that could potentially affect anyone who eats there. Although there were reports of roaches at the University of Chicago in 2012, which is worse than any reports at LUC, it is still very important that LUC works to improve the hygiene at their dining halls (Beckford 2).…

First, I'm going to start of with the appetizers. I will have the waitresses bring out the bread rolls and the beverages. Next I'm going to personally bring out the menus for everyone to place their order. Now lets not forget even though I have set everything up like 5 star service, everything is FREE. After everyone has ordered their appetizers the waitresses will take the cooks their order, and while the cooks will prepare them I will entertain the guest while they munch up on their bread rolls and beverages. After that the appetizers should be all ready to go.…
