Topic: What are the major impacts of dancehall on the teens in today’s society?
Introduction
Dancehall music has positive effects on the younger generation, its impact overweight the positive effects and is manifested through the general explicit, sexual behaviour, and violent content of the music. This in turn negatively impact the younger generation leading to embrace immoral sexual behaviours and negatively influenced others aspects of their social values, speech and dress.
Rationale: Dancehall, a highly rated Jamaican genre of music which is among one of the strongest influence on the younger generation and has also my behaviour as a young person. It is with this view in mind I have decided to conduct a research on the impact on dancehall music on their attitudes and behaviour. I am also pursuing a profession in the constabulary force, in which this research will greatly help me to complete this course.
