He goes to the wedding but comes home early, and finds his girlfriend to be sleeping with his brother. He shows then that he is in the terminating stage of his relationship. He also stonewalls the two entirely. He eventually falls in love with Aurelia, in which we see them go through all 5 stages of relationship development. The couple getting married, Juliet and Peter, show commitment and intimacy on the day of their wedding. Mark, Peter’s best man, is in love with Juliet, and he avoids her at all costs. He will not even start the initiating stage with her, but when he finally expresses his love to her, she acknowledges it with a kiss, where at that point he realizes he can give it up and move on. The next couple we see is David, the prime minister, and Natalie. Natalie and David instantly go through the initiating stage because they work in a close proximity. He then engages in the experimenting stage. David instantly realizes that he wants a relationship with her, but has her transferred somewhere else because of the risk of rumors with his job. He finally realizes she’s what he wants, though, and runs after her and we quickly see them go through the intensifying and integrating stage, and in the end the bonding
