Comes Around
"What goes around comes around" means if you want something good to happen to you then you have to help or do something good for someone else. Before you get something good in return you have to do something good for someone else. I relate to "What goes around comes around" because my grandparents would always say "what goes around surely does come back around". Looking back on my past life I see that i have made many mistakes and majority due to my lack of patience, disrespect, and never listening to my elders. If I had only listened and payed attention words of wisdom and took into consideration what was being told and taught to me. I would have saved my self from alot of trouble. The first valuable lesson I learned was my ninth grade year of high school, when I cheated on the final test. I was making new friends who, luckily for me, could drive. I found myself going out a lot more than I probably should have but going out was a lot more fun than staying home and studying. My grandfather warned me to get focused in school, I told him not to worry because I always figured my way out but whatever he seemed to say always went in one ear and out the other.I started to come to school late everyday. If I did come on time, I would fall asleep in class. I missed a lot of homework and class activities. So, I was already behind the class before I even knew about it. I did not know what to do when the final was about to come, I was stuck in a bad situation, so I decide to take the short cut and cheat on the exam. Too bad I got caught and went through a lot of bad experiences with the teachers and school principal. Only then did I start to belief there was a little truth to what my grandfather had tried to teach

Some of the things I learned were how to balance a checkbook, how to run a business, and how to budget my time and finances. Along with those real life skills a learned some metaphoric skills as well. I learned that you can’t just plant a seed and it will grow. To start with, you have to have a good foundation, which is the right type of soil. This all applies to life; you have to start with a good foundation if you want to succeed in life.…

In other words, when someone does something wrong it back fires and they end up hurting themselves. I agree with the above quote from personal experiences and from factual evidence I have found. Bob Ewell, from Harper Lee’s To Kill a Mocking Bird and Macbeth, from Shakespeare’s play Macbeth demonstrate that by doing wrong it only hurts yourself in the end.…

What is a lesson? A lesson means an experience, especially an unpleasant one that somebody can learn from, so it does not happen again in the future. And everyone probably had a lesson of some sort before. For me, I have had many lessons throughout my life already, from small things, like you should always bring an umbrella with you to school, never run with your wallet in your pocket, to something big like studying hard before a test. And these mistakes probably changed my life in ways.…

Ones parents and teachers usually try to teach one something one doesn’t want to know. One should listen next time for it might an important lesson. Like ones parents or teachers, the adults in the novel To Kill A Mockingbird try to teach Scout/one that may be important. One lesson learned is to face ones problems. Another is to respect everyone no matter how they differ. A lesson taught is to stand up for what one believes in. Therefore, lessons learned from childhood experiences help children make more mature decisions later.…

An experience that makes me proud during my first year of school was failing. It was a wake-up call, a realization that I could overcome a difficult obstacle due to the mistakes I had made. Therefore, I dedicated all my time to make-up all the classes I received low grades in. I pushed myself to persevere and not become a high school drop-out; I refused to be labeled a failure. I worked twice as hard in the classes I had received low grades; so when I was taking them again I would pass with a better grade I would be satisfied with. I managed my time efficiently to give myself enough time for each class and receive help when I asked certain teachers who offered tutoring. I took advantage of all extra credit assignments when offered, I believed…

I learned that everything does happen for a reason and to not sweat the small stuff because in the end, it will all work out. Another major lesson that I learned is to have confidence in everything I do. Even though I did not know how to play, I went in with an open mind and believed that I could succeed. Looking back, I accredit my success to this. Similarly, I also came to the realization that the only person I need to worry about is myself and to not let other people’s opinions affect me.…

Many people who were once unsuccessful and were put down, pulled themselves…
