1. What Is Technical Communication?
What is the difference between technical communication and technical writing? After completing your reading assignments for this week, how would you define each of these terms? Create your own definition for technical communication and a separate definition for technical writing and post them in this discussion forum. Explain in at least 200 - 250 words. Respond to at least two of your fellow students' postings by Day 7. (You must create one initial post and at least two responses, for a minimum of three posts for this discussion.)
Technical communication is something that is constantly done with respect to many aspects of life. Technical communication is constantly in use for both intake of new information, and in creation of information for other people to review. It is important to note that technical communication is designed both to convey information and to relate to the end user. To be effective, a technical communicator needs to consider the mindset of their audience when creating communications.
Technical writing is the process that is used to ensure that all pertinent information is represented in the technical communications. It creates a document that can also be called technical writing, and ca be utilized as a template to ensure that the audience will be aware of the important aspects. It is designed to use clear language to explain complex concepts. Technical writing is designed so that the audience can quickly find the information that they are looking for, rather than having to read the entire document, and organizational structure is important.

    The purpose for writing a play, document, or even a letter identifies the reason “why”. You may write a play to get noticed by a producer. There are four main purposes to writing and they are to summarize, to analyze, to synthesize, and to evaluate.
