You will need to identify the components of a basic sentence. Key information is requires when writing a complete sentence. The sentence has to be detailed and also has to make sense on its own. A complete sentence is also called a Clause. A clause is a group of words that makes up a sentence. There is also an Independent clause which is a group of words that may stand alone as a complete, grammatically thought.You will need to be able to identify the four most serious writing errors. Fragments occur because of Some common errors. Starting a sentence with a preposition, a dependent word, an infinitive, or a gerund are examples of those errors. Using the six basic sentence patterns when you write, this will prevent the errors and keep your writing on track. Define subject-verb agreement.Parts of sentences must agree, or correspond with other parts in number, person, case, and gender. This is important when writing a sentence.
