1. What does the word “Christian” mean in the university’s name – Colorado Christian University? The meaning of the word “Christian” as it pertains to Colorado Christian University (Statement of faith at Colorado Christian University, n.d.) is that the university is evangelical. The university was started to spread the word of God. To better the lives of students and the general community it serves and this is done from a worldly prospective.
