Color Code Portex Case Study
HI,
We have a patient in ICU who has a color code Portex (trach) there was some confusion on what size it is because when you look at the trach there are two numbers: Remember that Portex are color coded this one is white which would make it a 8.0. I also included a conversion trach chart so you can see which trach you would select if we do not have the same trach avaialbe. Please see me if you have quesitons.
In the example below if this Portex was organce it would be a size 6.0.
