Is it Worth It In the 21st century, people have been known to ask, “why,” and, “what’s the point?” Our diverse society has come across many controversial topics that some people find crucially important. Nowadays, once a high school student graduates he or she is expected to immediately continue their studies as they enter college, but some people are beginning to doubt college and ask themselves, “is it worth it?” People are starting to wonder on the value of a college degree, and whither or not it will make them or break them. Those who feel that a college degree will take a person far in life say that it is a valuable and important because of how the United State’s economy stands at this point. Also, it provides more options in their life as it benefits every single aspect. In contrast, others are non supporters of a college degree and feel that the cost of a college education is too high. Some believe that attending college actually causes more problems for many students with: debt, stress, and time management. In addition, they feel that a college degree is just as rewarding as providing for a family of 6. So, the value of a college degree has both its cons and pros, and it actually comes down to the certain individual to believe and ask themselves if its worth it.
