College Inventory Reflection
Recently I completed a college inventory report (CSI), something many college students fill out each year. Out of all the topics of my college inventory report I can say that I agree with results of my low sociability and my desire to finish college. I am a shy person and have tendency to hide away from crowds. After being around people for what I consider a long period of time I get uncomfortable. I feel like the odd one so I just hope to be unnoticed by being quiet. My desire to finish college is just something I had since being a young child. Not just finishing college but to receive a greater education in general is my push to finish college. I am firm believer that once you you have your education nothing can stop you. You may have some blockades, but no one can take what you already know.
The area of my CSI that shocked me the most was my opinion tolerance and the fact that my math and science confidence was higher than my verbal and writing. Coming through high school math was not my strong point. I would prefer writing over math any day. Most of the time, others opinions really don’t faze me. I listen to people may say but if I don’t agree I stick with my gut feeling but I do not just talk down on someone else opinion. …show more content…
When it come to my academic success I don’t mind asking for help. I feel that it’s better to receive the right understanding then to learn something wrong and just be wrong. If I get personal counseling I could more than likely be more self-aware. You can never really go wrong with being self- aware. My attitude towards educators could either make or break the preparation for me. Being positive creates helpful relationships with my instructors and be used the same way to create an positive relationship with my future
