I also plan on taking one of the three engineering courses at the Greene Technology Center. I would then need to get at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering at a four year college or get a degree from a Technical School with an engineering program. In High School I will have to take Physics, Chemistry, Writing/English, and several Math courses such as algebra, calculus, and trigonometry.…

As a child, I decided to pursue an aspiration that began with a child’s doctors kit. I wanted to have a career as a doctor. I was on board with being dressed as the part; wearing scrubs, and always carrying a stethoscope. Looking back, today I would consider myself wise beyond my years. I wanted to help others feel better, or assist them in any way I could. A main characteristic of mine was being analytical. I am an equally observant and curious person. I desire to find out how the world works, or find solutions to problems. I consistently had questions about my environment. In pre-school, I got along with everyone in my classroom. I loved going to school for the fact that I was always able to learn something new. I’ve always been drawn to…

There are a few things I have been absolutely, clearly sure about in my life and none more so than my desire to pursue a career in filmmaking, which I’d acquired when I was just a little girl. I remember vividly the feeling I would get each time I would go to a theatre with my mother to enter a world of escapism, of endless possibilities and adventures. If there were to be a line to separate the world into two, geographically, economically and culturally speaking, I’d say I grew up right in the middle. Yes, I’m from Turkey, right in between the two continents. A country where people certainly appreciate as well as adopt the innovations of the “Western World” but never quite become the producers of those innovations themselves. I may be exaggerating…

The career that I have literally chosen is the automotive service technician and mechanics career. The reason why I chose this career it’s because… Well actually I have plenty and many reasons to choose from because I am very passionate about this career and I have lived through it my entire life. One reason is that Auto Mechanics is because to me it’s an interesting field to me. I decided to explore the topic a little more to get a better understanding of what it would take to become a successful automotive technician . I have lived through the auto mechanics field pretty much all through my life. Well actually since I have been born. The reason of this is very simple. That is because my very own dad is an auto mechanic himself. Well actually to be more exact, he owns his own auto mechanic shop. Since I was little I have always helped him at his work because I have always enjoyed working with vehicles. Since the very first day that I started working with him I already knew that the automotive field was the job for me. Since I was a baby my very own parents use to tell me that I would disappear out of their sight. And when they used to find me I used to be playing with the tools besides my dad helping him out. I have pretty much made my mind up about actually going further in this career. Not only because I actually enjoy doing that job but also because of the pay check that you receive. Well actually that is a bonus in it. It does matter to me the money that you earn in it but not as much as I like doing the activity of interacting and working with automobiles. I have faith in me that one day I am not only going to fix cars, but I am also going to own my own shop myself.…

I grew up in a strict household met with consequences when the dishes weren’t done, a book log tracking my reading and learnings (3 grades higher than my age), and the constant pressure to work harder. I have a scholarly track record, a propensity for voicing my opinion backed by logic, and a love for learning about history and its implications. Given my love for the academic arts, it was to my dismay that I acquired a passion for acting, an art that has pushed me outside of my comfort zone regularly.…

There are many issues facing people who work in the graphic design industry that makes their career harder, and harder to find work as well. One issue is that at all times you have to be on top of things at all times, and know what’s trending, or what the public wants from your work. Another issue of being a graphic designer is that you’re a freelancer, in other words, you’re not really an employee, but instead a person someone hires for a single job, which means that it’s not exactly steady even though you get a steady paycheck and decent benefits. You also need to be able to design anything, you need to be able to piece together what an employer will want, and show that you are sort of a jack of all trades, and will be able to appeal to any…

Pursuing engineering as my future was a natural consequence of my love for machines, science and technology. ‘Learning to excel’ is the principal reason that strives everyone to turn efficient through self-perfection and I’m no exception in this regard. Even before my passion towards these machines, I have been in love with automobiles for as long as I can remember and this naturally intrigued me to explore, learn and develop ideas into practical solutions. As an undergrad, I was exposed to a stimulating academic environment in which both the theoretical and practical learning went hand in hand. The extensive coursework on core subjects like thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and numerical methods which have naturally widen my scope of learning…
