“All work and no play make Jack a dull boy”. Students not only need to score in their academic, we also need to active in co-curricular activities. When students get both of them, they physical and mental health is healthy would be better. Active in co-curricular activities is out-of-class activity where students participate in any outdoor activities involving camps, societies and so forth. Co-curricular activities are voluntary, and they are not part of the regular school curriculum, are not graded and do not part of earn credits. Moreover, co-curricular activities can make students obtain experiences. On the other hand academic performance is students who are focus on their studies in order to improve their knowledge as well as gain a high score. However, certificate can help students to get a stable job and status as well as high salary in the future. A graduate who was focus on academic performance will increase the person’s self-value and standard in this realty social and increase the trust of ability from other people. There are several differences between active in co-curricular activities differs from focus on academic performance, in term of activities, training as well as different types of knowledge.

Furthermore, there are several differences in the type of activities these students involve by being active in co-curricular as well as in academic performance. Students who love socializing will be active in co-curricular activities, and they will participate the in all kinds of activities involving society, outdoor, and sports. These students like to communicate with other people often, and they can improve their self-confidence as well as comprehend other cultures and religious faiths. In addition, students who participate in the co-curricular activities enjoy good social network and build a strong relationship with other people. On the other hand, students who love reading will focus on their academic performance, but they might ignore their co-curricular activities. This is because they are focused on future job prospects. For instance, students who are focused on their academic performance will lack of optimism and physical healthy than students who are active in co-curricular activities. This is due to the reason that students want to enjoy their quality of life in the future by focus on their academic performance. Moreover, students who are active in co-curricular activities may ignore their studies, but they have more upbeat emotions, self-awareness, self-motivation and self-esteem than students who focus on academic performance. However, the students who participate in co-curricular activities can spend their leisure time and stimulate work for both sides of the brain to attain their mental health. Both kinds of students enjoy different kind of advantages in terms of the activities they involve themselves in.

On the other hand, students who are active in co-curricular activities differ from students who active in academic performance in term of their knowledge. Students receive different kind of training by involving themselves in co-curricular activities or academically. Therefore, students who are active in co-curricular activities are more conscious of their physical health. Students who take part in co-curricular activities will not fall sick easily. Badminton, gym, dancing is the example of most popular co-curricular conduct in the school. Besides, students who take part in co-curricular activities also improve their group dynamic by working in a team. Co-curricular activities are more prefer to group activities and teamwork. However, students who are active in academic are more try to challenge and improve their mental ability by focus on academic performance. Students will push them self in their academic by doing a lot of tasks and paper work to improve their knowledge and mental ability. Besides, students who are active in academic performance will improve their knowledge and skills through self-learning. Students who are hardworking will plan their own time to study them self by revision note, slide, homework to improve their knowledge and learning skills. Library is the best study environment for students who are need to study them self in the quit place. Library have computer and reference book provide for student to improve their knowledge.

Besides, student who are active in co-curricular activities are differ from student who are active in academic performance, in term of their activities, training and knowledge. Students gain different types of knowledge from the co-curricular activities and academic performance. Student who are active in co-curricular activities will learn the practical knowledge in co-curricular. For example, they can learn how to cooperate and exchange information with each other. This can help student gain better experience and knowledge from the co-curricular activities. Students take part in the co-curricular activities that can gain the general knowledge. For example, students who participate in camps and activities must manage their own time and can learn independently and without relying any people else. Student will learn the theoretical knowledge from the academic performance like student who learn the practical knowledge in co-curricular. In this case, they get the theoretical knowledge from the book, newspaper, magazine and etc. The reading will improve their knowledge of life and student will learn how to communicate with other by using proper language. Student also can get the knowledge from the book though the academic performance. This cause student can improve their writing skill and presentation skills. For example, the book of encyclopedia, how things work, fiction, story book and etc. Students who are active in academic performance that is also to culture their relationship and establish contacts.

In conclusion, they have many differences between active in co-curricular activities and active in academic performance, students also have some similarities. Student who active in co-curricular and academic will improve their living standard and quality of life by engaging in both the activities. Active in both activities student can balance their life. In addition, they can become a successful person and gain recognition by engaging in curricular activities and active in academic performance. Although co-curricular is outdoor activity academic performance is indoor activity, they can improve student’s self-confidence because they be assured to get opportunities to perform themselves in both of the activities. They also can get chance to represent school, university, the country in a competition. In both of the activities they will interact with other. Student who are active in co-curricular and active in academic performance can learn more experiences or knowledge, stimulate others learning skills and increase their socialization. Furthermore, active in co-curricular and active in academic performance students have related characteristic. Student who are active in co-curricular tend to have stronger performance, especially in reading and mathematics subject.
