The BCATP was not only significant but complex in its role as an organization, as fifty-one training schools were created between April 1940 and December 1941, along with an intake of almost 40,000 trainees. The full implications politically and economically were apparent as the war went on; the economic benefits of the BCATP following the Great Depression were great as surviving facilities adapted and new ones commenced, and Canada developed a prosperous aircraft construction industry. Before the war broke out, the RCAF had merely fifty aircraft that were mainly equipped for surveillance missions, counting only about 27,000 flying hours per year in comparison to the quadruple amount of flying hours each week during the summer of 1942. Recognized…

The first topic I will choose is number two, which is the married homosexual male couple that is moving from the Netherlands to Australia. I think that the family values within this couple would be very strong, as I think most male couple relationships are. I think that there is a better mutual understanding within the two as well. They both face discrimination on many levels such as legal or even personal/emotional. They think of themselves just like the male/female couple down the road from them; however they are not treated that way. With this being said, they feel that they should have the right to marry, just like male/female couples.…

BPPV is a mechanical disorder which occurs as a result of the displacement of tiny crystals of calcium carbonate, also called otoconia. Typically, otoconia reside in the otolith organs and play a crucial role in detecting head movement. When the crystals get displaced, often due to trauma, they collect in one of the semicircular canals and cause vertigo symptoms. When the head is still, the otoconia settle within the semicircular canals and there are no vertigo symptoms. When the head is rapidly moved, the otoconia move, which causes overstimulation in that canal. This overstimulation of sensory receptors causes the intense vertigo and triggers nystagmus whenever the head is rapidly moved (Umphred, 2007).…
