Clarisse is a type of person that made people be informed about something, without doing it intentionally. In the book, you could see that Clarisse made Guy be aware of the influence the people around him were giving. One of those people was Mildred. Mildred is a character in the book that was is a negative force on Guy. She made Guy feel that everything is right in their society when it really wasn’t. Clarisse made Guy see that the things that you think are true, aren’t really true at all. One example in the book can when Clarisse rubs a dandelion on Guy’s chin to see if he is in love with someone, and it showed us that he wasn’t in love with anyone. This example can show that relationships that you think are true, but they really aren’t.
