Civilizations
Civilizations are the cradles of humanity. Without this, we are an unorganized clutter of people with no chance of survival. But in a civilization, we depend on one another to keep the world stable and insure one another’s ability to live successfully. A civilization is many things but an accurate definition is “the stage of human social development and organization that is considered most advanced.” This shows that a civilization is very advanced form of life where there is a lot of social interaction. This also means the people in a civilization are advanced in arts and religion. These civilizations are very mighty and powerful in their strength. They are formed with strong beliefs, the necessity of a government, the hearts and minds of the people, the power it holds, the way it gets richer, and the courage of their leaders. But even the mightiest of them all, can crumble.
Many civilizations are powerful, but most are doomed to collapse. A good example of this is Egypt. Ancient Egypt was an ancient civilization of Northeastern Africa, concentrated along the lower reaches of the Nile River in what is now the modern country of Egypt. [1] Ancient Egypt, the glorified nation that rests along the Nile River and famed across the world for its strong army, powerful pharaohs, great pyramids, and the pride of its men, brought down to its knees by some foreign country. It may sound hard to believe, but it’s true. How the nation that was less to no other did, get ruined? Funny you should ask, because I was just about to answer.
Egypt, as many others advanced civilizations, had a very stable economy, large armies and strong ruler. Usually, these kings had absolute power- the main reason everything was so calm and orderly. This is a good characteristic for new and old kingdoms as it is vital for survival in this ancient world. Egypt got its start during the agricultural age, when early Egyptian farmers settled on the banks of the Nile to grow cotton, wheat, and barley [2].
