I) Give a brief overview of Citrix and their current situation
Citrix is a company that provides information technology expertise and products. It provides solutions for mobility, desktop virtualization, cloud networking, cloud platforms, collaboration and data sharing. This enhances mobility of work. (a) Describe the basic business, including the mix of products/services being offered.
Citrix creates products that ensure that people are able to work from anywhere away from the office and access the necessary resources. The supply their products to individuals, enterprises, small businesses and IT service providers. Citrix has a variety of products such as I) Go-to-meeting, Podio, go-to-webinar and go-to-training which are tools that enhance online meetings. II) Receiver and Sharefile tools which enhance sharing of data and storage. III) Xenmobile, work mobile apps and go to assist tools which enhance security of the applications, data and services in the mobile devices and support the system in remote cases. IV) Xenapp, xendesktop and xenclient which are visualization tools. V) Netscaler and cloudbridge tools which secure and enhance networking. VI) Cloud platform, cloud portal business manager and xenserver which enhance cloud orchestration, avail IT resources and system expansion services.

Strengths
i) Citrix has embraced social media via twitter, facebook and other medias which increases its visibility to the target market. ii) Citrix products have enhanced consumerization of its products through diversification of its devices use e.g. a tablet could be used for online meetings, storage and even networking. iii) Citrix marketing strategy is specific as it addresses the benefits of the product to each segment of the target
