Chronic Headache Research Paper
There have been increasing costs related to health care services over the past few years due to growing number of chronic conditions [1]. A chronic condition (e.g. chronic headache, diabetes etc) can be any long term illness or condition that impacts one’s quality of life functionally and socially. It is estimated that chronic headaches affect 4% to 5% of the general population [2]. The focus of my research is to help patients use computing technologies who are living with chronic headache. Chronic headache patients have frequent headaches at an average of 15 days or more in a month [3]. Headaches can negatively impact all aspects of quality of life (psychological [5, 6], work/school [7, 8] and social functioning [9]). Two of the major factors
