Chivalry In The World Today Essay
The thought of chivalry in today’s generation is starting to become a lost art. But if some people exhibited chivalry the world could be a more polite and better place to live. People might even be happier and more pleasant to be around if they were more kind to the people around them. The use of manners and being respectful to other people, even people you do not necessarily like, could help you exhibit chivalry in your everyday life. The use of chivalry in the world today would create a better living environment for people to live in. A negative factor in the decline of the use of chivalry could be the adoption of technology as the more popular form of communication. For example, the uses of texting, instagram, and snapchat are now the more attractive and trendy ways to communicate with people instead of a call or even a face-to-face conversation. Since people use technology so much to communicate their personalities could be different in a real world environment because they have not experienced real conversation as much as older generations. Statistics show that ages twenty-four and under like to to text, email, instant messaging, etc. more than calling or conversations. Chivalry presents a great quality to make your lives better and it could also make you a more liked person. You would probably gain more respect from people if you showed that you were a kind and polite person. Not only would you possibly gain more respect from your peers but you would definitely be seen differently from other people your age by the older generation.
