China’s One Child Policy The number of people in China was already high making the economy for the country very bad as they had to use their money to build schools and more health care as there was so many people. The number of people also meant that there was less jobs for people and with no money people started to starve and slowly die from poverty and famine. There was even a time where the death went up to 40 million people because of no food source making the government have to quickly make a family planning for the country before anything got worst. As the population got bigger, the pollution in the country got bigger too , making it an unhealthy place to live in. More cars mean more gas pollution and humans breathe in the gas making it unhealthy. With more people, you also need more resources which put many people into farming which doesn’t develop the country further. This also means cutting down more trees ruining the environment even further not to mention that the companies have to put more waste into the sea making it dangerous and killing the fishes which also reduces the food income making them bring in imports which increases the price of food. This is why the government had to change the policy before further chaos.
With more people there is a fight for resources and food, increasing the price of food, land and housing. This also means that there are not enough jobs for the amount of people making the price of jobs go down and people jobless. With no money or jobs, there is no money for sufficient health and medical care increasing the amounts of death rates and if the death rates reach a peak there will be jobs with no one doing it decreasing the income of the country there decreasing the development the country was progressing.
The one child policy created doors of possibility for the government and country to improve which makes China more powerful and people there more obedient as there are
