Child Protection Plan Case Study

The information is about a child named Lara who is becoming difficult to handle for her mother Emily. This was brought to limelight, when in a session that took place in nursery, was brought to the attention of the nursery key worker. The nursery worker had noticed that whilst Emily and Lara were playing, another child tried to be part of the play; but Lara threw a handful of bricks across the room. This was followed by Emily shouting at Lara, who then threw a tantrum. It was then disclosed by Emily to nursery worker that Lara has become difficult to handle for Emily and that the child has become extremely naughty. The reason for this is that both are going through severe issues regarding their development as well as in their relationships with each and with their parents. It is important that both the children are kept safe and proper guidelines are set with regards to their safety and health. The reason that these two should be aspects should be involved because the healthcare expert will be able to judge better the health outcomes for the children and understand what health needs they require as well make certain that the parents, Emily and Spencer, are also given proper health needs (Johnston, 2011). Furthermore, Social Care Services is significant in this matter because they would be able to look into the aspect of how to make certain that family is provided proper care and will be provided support until they are able to support themselves in a better way. Child Protection Service is significant for children. This is because children are the main person in the family who are affected as Lara is too demanding, and Thomas is turning out to be a socially awkward child.
The conflicts that would likely arise are between Social Care Services and Child Protection Services.
