Suitable sized furniture e.g. tables and chairs

A display board with children’s work on it
Enough space for children to move around
An area or them to rest and sleep
A quiet area to look at books and pictures
Home corner for children
Safe and interesting resources and equipment

State how these features might help children to learn
These would help the children as they can look at the display board and learn... Have a sand pit to play in and a rest area and a home corner for them to play in. They can play with each other and learn a lot of different things.

Only girls play with dolls and not boys.
Therefore if a boy plays with dolls he gets called names... so boys should be able to play with dolls.
Home corners:
Mostly girls play in home corners this reinforces because most girls are normally in the kitchen.
Boys don’t play in the home corner this challenges discrimination because boys are not good cooks
Cars:
Normally boys play with cars this is reinforces stereotype because cars are designed for boys.
Girls don’t normally play with cars this challenges discrimination.
