There was a kid named Cole Matthews who went from insane to sane from a deserted island and he learned how to silence his anger. Some people learned some lesson about being neat and turning in their homework on time. This all through life. In life when you go through experience and you can share them with others. In the book Cole goes through experiences when he gets mauled and now he's changed. In chicken soup one of the character learns not to be greedy. In life experience is our greatest teacher when we make a mistake or do something wrong and you learn from what you do. You also learn what you did wrong and then you fix it like Cole. I bet when he gets back he will see Peter first and apologize . In life experience is our greatest teacher. …show more content…
Cole gets mauled by a bear and learns to keep his anger. Now Cole is now anger free and now he also listens to Edwin and Garvey. He also releasing stress in a normal way and he does not commit crime. The evidence shows that Cole learns from his mistake of releasing his anger on the bear and now he is sane. He now realizes his anger and he released it in the river and the ancestor rock. Cole doesn’t commit more crimes like the Peter and now that dad is not there he won’t get into anymore trouble. The dad beat him up when ever he was drunk.

Another example , Life experiences can teach can help control your emotions. In TSB, Cole gets mauled by the bear and now can easily control his anger. He also works harder now like on his shelter and his totem pole. If something happens bad to you learn from it and it may affect your whole life. According to TSB, if you do something to others and you and that person will have negative thoughts. Like Peter trying to commit suicide and the dad in chicken soup not wanting the ice cream a ny more because the kid was being selfish about it. Then life teaches that you should never do it
