Chicken pox is a common childhood disease that is highly contagious and is seen in children aged between 2 and 6 years old, although they can be of any age. Occasionally adults can contract chicken pox renamed as shingles, with more server symptoms. Chicken pox infections occur year round, but most likely occur during the winter and spring months. Some illnesses are infectious. This means that they are passes from one person to another. Chicken pox is an infectious disease and in some cases it can be deadly.
