1. I was disappointed that the girl and the boy didn’t get together because I know if they did it’d be something wonderful that would make both of them happy.

2a. The girl loves grocery shopping because she thinks it’s her only time to et away from everything.

2b. We learn that the girl like to be independent and on her own due to her love for grocery shopping.

3a. The boy and the girl think about each other while they’re apart.

3b. The unacknowledged romance between the boy and the girl may be useful because it keeps them wondering about each other.

4a. At the end of the story, the boy and the girl re-meet but out on a whole different occasion with other people.

The authors’ use of personification describes the heaviness and panic that is set into the setting.
