The main reason I play sports are to become better at the game. By cheating you skip the whole journey of self-improvement and by doing that you skip the process of becoming a better player. Cheating is for people who want quick results and don’t want to experience the discomfort of doing the journey of becoming a better athlete. Cheating instead makes you a better player for a while until you get caught, which then you regret ever cheating in the first place. Even if I don’t get caught and nobody knows what I have done, I will always know and I will feel bad for having to resort to dishonesty just to win…

Cheating of course is the act of copying someone else’s work and making it seem as if it is you own. But what about those that are not glancing over someone’s test to get the answers, but instead, are allowing their work to be copied? This is called passive cheating, when a person either lets others copy their work or do not notify a teacher when they see someone cheating. Both are equally at fault. Although passive cheating can be seen as less morally significant, it still allows the dishonest action to continue. “Cheating in college poses a threat to all of our educations, and it can only be reduced by us choosing to stop it from happening.”(Bryce Buchmann). This is why…

It is almost the same for academics. Say you cheat on all of the homework for a chapter and get all one-hundreds. At the end of the chapter you have a test on that chapter. Well the day you get your test back you don’t have a passing grade because you cheated on all of your homework. You got the failing grade because you cheated on your homework and did not know what the whole chapter was about. Therefore, if you cheat you are only cheating yourself.…

However, if society is given a morality test and people cheat their way through life; whether through the economy, sports, school, or relationships, then they will ultimately fail. Society does not accept cheating even though people cheat. Although this might be confusing to comprehend, it is true. If people continue to go through life "the easy way" they will surely fail and pay the consequences.…

Newton said in his laws of physics that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. What we do as our actions is something that will stay with us for a life time. If an adult steals something from a store they will be punished in the court of law. One’s actions come from one’s thoughts. In our case of the cheating our actions came from lazy thoughts of not wanting to put in the time and do the work.…
