Characters In Watership Down
Watership Down is about a young rabbit named Hazel, his prophetic brother named Fiver, and a whole other list of characters. One day Fiver has a vision that their warren is in danger and persuades Hazel and some other rabbits to leave the warren. Hazel leads them away from the warren and to another one with an odd chief named Cowslip. The group learns that this warren is bad news and abandon it, not knowing what they are going to do or where they’re going. When they come across what is seemingly the perfect hill to set up a new warren, they find themselves in another problem, they have no does.This leads them to a farm where Hazel sets free the does from the farm but not before getting shot in the leg, in which he crawls into a pipe and rests,

It was kind of hard to choose for this one because I don’t really think i’m like any of the rabbits but if I had to choose it would be those three. I picked Bigwig because i’m stubborn and I like fighting, but not physically. I picked Bluebell because I like joking A LOT and he’s basically known as the jokester of the group. Last but not least, I picked Dandelion because since he is most notably known for storytelling, and I love telling stories.
I really liked the book. At the beginning, I wasn’t quite excited to read it because I thought it was just going to be some boring book about bunnies. But when the part of Cowslip’s Warren, one of my favorite parts, came, I started getting interested. Though, one part I didn’t like is all of the unnecessary things the writer put in. I’d have to say, my favorite part of the book is the characters. They all have different personalities and dialogue. I’m kind of biased because usually characters are my favorite parts of stories. This is still the case with Watership Down!
Fighting scenes in both the book and movie are pretty brutal. One key difference that I noticed is that the movie fighting scenes are WAY MORE BRUTAL. THOSE BUNNIES GO HARD. The Woundwort vs. Bigwig scene was terrifying. I am definitely going to have nightmares about
