In the movie finding Forrester there is a young man named Jamal he is the strongest and bravest character in the movie.In the movie Jamal is shown as a young black male who lives in the Bronx's. He lives with his mom and brother named Fly. Jamal and his friends are good at basketball,his friends take it serious but Jamal takes something else serious which is his writing. He is in love with writing and reading.Jamal has to face the challenges of being accepted by his friends and also hiding his true love writing from his friends. In this school there is a teacher named Professor Crawford who dislikes Jamal.Crawford doesn't believe a black young man from the Bronx's can be so smart and great at writing.Crawford makes an assignment for the class to write and Jamal writes it.The only thing is Crawford does not believe that the paper is his he thinks that is to familiar and is to good for someone like Jamal.At this point in the movie Jamal is friends with the man in the window and his name is William.William a author and an amazing writer to so he helps is William knows Crawford from awhile back.William takes a paragraph from his book and gives it to Jamal to help him start his writing.Crawford accuses Jamal of plagiarizing the assignment and ask Jamal to stay after in crawfords office and write it again for him.Jamal can not do it because he is not in a good environment with william and the typewriter he writes on.William has been hiding out in his apartment for years and years because,the press has always been asking him what his book means.So the Crawford goes the to the Principal and tells him about how Jamal plagiarized the assignment.
