Character Analysis: The Bachelorette
Nick Viall and Josh Murray are used to fighting over the same girl. They were the final two on Andi Dorfman's season of The Bachelorette, and now Nick is speaking out saying that he knows that Andi would love Bachelor in Paradise. E! Online shared what Nick Viall had to say about Andi and his rivalry with Josh. ABC knew what they were doing when they put these two up against each other.

Nick Viall started on the show at the very beginning, but Josh Murray didn't show up until the second episode of the season. Nick shared how he felt when he saw Josh walk down those steps and join the show.

"I was more or less indifferent. Josh and I certainly didn't have relationship. We're not friends, but I don't have any feelings about Josh one way

Nick took Amanda Stanton out on a date, but then Josh Murray picked her to take out next. It looks like Josh ends up winning the girl this time around, too. Hopefully, Nick ends up finding love with someone else.

They are making Murray look a lot different on Bachelor in Paradise, and he really doesn't look like the golden child everyone is used to seeing. Nick Viall spoke out and said that he really does think Andi Dorfman will like the way they make Josh look on this season. When Andi wrote her book, it talks about Josh and Nick both, but she is a lot nicer to Nick in the book. Nick explained about the book.

"I'm familiar with the book, I'm in it a little bit. I don't know Andi to be the most honest person. What Andi does is she has a tendency of omitting information. That being said, the things that are written about me, as far as like the events that happened and things that were said, a large part of it did happen, so I can't say that it's a fictional book. It might be missing some information, but a lot of the things she wrote about did happen, I think Josh would want you to believe that it's a totally fictional book, and it's hard for me knowing what's written about it me and what happened that it is fictional. So I think that conversation will come

One way Nick changed was that in the beginning of the story he went from being an annoying pest to now being more certain of things. In the beginning of the story Nick was very annoying. Caitlin filed a restraining order against Nick because of the abusive behavior Nick was treating her with back when they were dating around December. Instead of Nick saying to Caitlin when he saw her “ I’m sorry Caitlin” he says “Why are you doing this Cat?” “I thought we had something special.”(FLINN2) This was Nicks way of being annoying because I’m pretty sure Caitlin has heard this many times before and would have preferred something more like a sorry for all that he has put her through. Another example of Nick having annoying behavior is when he’s in the violence class and Mario asks him why he was they and he says “I don’t know why I’m here. I lost it once and slapped my…

Are they really meant to be together? Well, honestly I think that the book does not want them to be together, but their love is so strong that the book has no other choice then to keep them together. If they did not keep them together the fan base would be extremely mad. If I was the man in black I would of just said “Screw It. She is not worth it.” But it would not of been much of a book if he would of done that.…

Aside from my fascination with Nick’s perseverance and dedication, I was intrigued by the friendship that developed between Nick and Trent, the local bully. At first, Trent and Nick didn’t get along. In fact, Trent beat Nick up. However, as Deuker took us through their relationship we saw how they soon became good friends who were connected through the game of basketball. From this, I realized that some of the people best fit for you could be right under your nose, but they put up a façade to support their tough guy image so you don’t get a chance to get to know who they truly are.…

In the book it seemed very much so that Jordan Baker and Nick were a thing, after their tea date it describes Nick and Jordan having a moment where they kiss. The fact that nick doesn’t get home until two in the morning it seems that it worked out pretty good for him. In the film you can see that there may be some feelings between the two but never shows the interaction of nick drawing her closer and then eventually as he describes “this time I drew here even closer this time to my face”. Although in the movie he still doesn’t get home until very late at night. They could have left this part out because of time restrictions or because the director could have felt it wasn’t an important part that he had to show…
