Character Analysis Of Lady Macbeth

Women are always expected to act gracefully in society even in Shakespear's
play Macbeth. Everyone knows Lady Macbeth as one of the strongest female character
in Macbeth, she has this kind of traits like being, ambitious, energetic, and evil. She is
ambitious because she wants her husband to be a king, energetic that she can think
to kill Duncan and at the same time it also makes her evil that she makes her husband kill
The king that is opposed to God's will, just for the sake of her ambition for his husband, but
in the other side of her evilness, she also have a soft part of her heart, just like how

when it was smiling in my face."(1.7.l.55-56) This makes her bring out the feminine side of her,
that she also think about of having a child.
This traits only proves to us how Lady Macbeth changed her characteristics for the
whole play, the audience know her as a heartless evil woman, but still she manage to be a
supportive wife to Macbeth. She also feels guilt to the wrong things that she has done, and
lastly she also thinks how it feels like to be a mother that milks a baby, and it shows her some
kind of affection. This explain us that no matter how bad you will be, you will still have that
good side in yourself. Until now woman are still considered strong but still have the good side
of them, those are the women who fight for their family, that who will never give up
understanding the flaws of the others around her. This also generalize those women who do
unwanted things but then will still manage to make things up such as those women who cheats
on their partners but because of the guilt that they feel, they will feel sorry for themselves.
