A. Definitely the American businessman did not study the Saudi ethics principles before visiting the country; he made several ethical mistakes.
B. He had to inform the team what was the point of the meeting, so that people would be prepared for it with ideas.
C. The Spanish guys needed to study the business ethics in USA; not anyone needs to receive the information (only those who are concerned by it).

a. What does the abbreviation UTC indicates?
Coordinated Universal Time (UTC) is the basis for civil time today. This 24-hour time standard is kept using highly precise atomic clocks combined with the Earth's rotation.

b. Internationally, time is shown with a 24- hour clock. What time does 13:00 indicate? How is a 12-hour clock different from a 24-hour clock? With which are you most familiar?
13:00 indicates it is 1:00 pm on a 12-hour clock. On a 12-hour clock there is am and pm, and for the 24-hour clock there´s no am and pm but for it to be 1:00 am on a 24-hour clock it is 00:00 clock. I am more familiar with the 12-hour clock because it is easier to understand.

c. You must schedule an audio conference for a businessperson in Indianapolis, Indiana, who wants to talk with a person in Osaka, Japan. What are the best business hours (between 8 and 5) for them to talk?
I believe the best hours for them to talk would be these ones:

Day
Indianapolis
Osaka

d. What are the best business hours for an online chat between an executive in Atlanta and a vendor in Singapore?
It would be 8 pm for Atlanta and 8 am in Singapore.

e. When is a businessperson in Arizona most likely to reach a contact in Belgium on Skype during office hours?
It would be 8 am in Arizona and 5 pm in Belgium. Page 107, 3.13
