A Competency Demonstration Report (CDR) is a collection of the following documents. 1. The completed CDR Application Form. 2. A signed declaration that the report is all your own work. 3. Certified copies of your academic records. (You must always keep your originals) 4. Your Resume or Curriculum Vitae (CV). 5. Continuing Profession Development (CPD) listing. 6. International English Language Test (IELTS) Result. 7. 3 (three) Career Episode Narratives (CEN’s). 8. Summary statement of competencies from the career episode narratives (CEN’s). final assignment requirement A reminder that the final assignment must comprise the following elements. (1) Mapping of your undergraduate engineering degree to the Engineers Australia Stage 1 Competency Standards for Professional Engineer. (refer to the Excel template provided) (2) 3 (three) Career Episode Narratives (CEN’s) as per the template I provided. (Place borders to suit your work) (3) Summary statement of the Professional Engineering competencies (refer attachment) claimed when mapped against the three career episode narratives (CEN’s).
1) Use the Bachelor of Engineering Excel template (provided previously) and map your undergraduate degree subjects/courses to the Engineers Australia Stage 1 competency standards for Professional Engineer Appendix B. (2) Use the CER –Template (attached) and complete the three career episode narratives. Adapt the template numbering to suit each of the three career episodes. (3) Use the Professional Engineer Summary Statement

and map the three career episode narratives to the relevant Stage 1 competency standards for Professional Engineer Appendix B. This will enable you to consolidate your summary and complete your Competency Demonstration Report (CDR).

The Under Secretary of Defense for AT&L (USD(AT&L)) has approved these checklists for the DoD AT&L workforce under the authority of DoD Directive 5000.52, “Defense Acquisition Education, Training and Career Development Program.” DoD components are responsible for ensuring that workforce personnel are trained to qualify for their current assignments, prepared for more responsible jobs, and cross-trained for assignments in other AT&L fields. All courses that may be taken to meet Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certification requirements are included in this Appendix.     CE 2.1 RFID vechile tolling/tracking system was my final year project while I was doing my under-graduate degree. The duration was 6 months after which a demo of the working model was shown for assessment. This project was done by myself and my friend/group-member Anand Menon. The final assessment's outcome can be see in the transcript(last unit) - unit name – Project Work. Background: CE 2.2 One of the main reasons I took up this project was to gain experience in the field of RFID controlled devices. I had done small projects before this on RFID to control different motors so I could gear up for my final semester project. The basic idea was to implement RFID in tolling system and extend this system to track vesicles. RFID was chosen as it covers the optimal range with minimal power consumption and the vehicle does not have to stop at the gate. The same equipment is also used to track a car. The inherent idea is to retrieve the vehicle’s registration number. CE 2.3 Though implemented system’s range was one to two metres the power can easily be increases with the active tags operating at higher power and the reader’s range subsequently increases. I was able to find the field strength from calculating receiver amplitude, antenna factor, attenuation factor and amplifier gain. CE 2.4 Technically the areas I had to sharpen my knowledge was micro-controller programming, interfacing electronics circuits with computer. I had to master circuit-theory to trouble-shoot and device the connection between interfaces, I had to study the basics of Computer networking later in the development phase.…
