Causes Of Tutankhamun's Curse
Tutankhamen, an ancient ruler of Egypt died very young, nobody knows why, but though he is not alive, his tomb and treasures remain. People believe its guarded by an unknown power, known as the curse of the pharaoh. In the ancient times, Tutankhamun ruled Egypt. He started ruling when he was eight years old. Later, he died when he was eighteen. In 1923, Howard Carter entered the tomb, later his financial backer died. That is when the “curse” started. People now believe that the person who enters, will die.

Later, Howard Carter’s financial backer died because a mosquito bite got infected. The were not enough deaths to say there was a curse. A policeman that guarded it said that when it was invented, no one prevented it because it was easier. It would have been much better. Ignorants now think its true. When tourists visit the tomb, they think they may die. This “curse” just causes superstitions.
This curse is believed to be true because of a series of deaths that happened after Howard Carter entered the tomb. Howard Carter’s canary was eaten by a cobra. There started the rumors of the curse. Then, Lord Carnarvon died because of blood poisoning by a mosquito bite that he cut while shaving. Also, friend of Howard Carter, Bruce Ingham, died because his house was burned down, twice. He had received a paperweight made out of mummified hand. It had a scarab bracelet that said “Cursed be he who moves my body. To him shall come fire, water and pestilence.”
The “curse” is fake. It only got popular because of the newspaper. When the tomb was opened, there were 58 people.
