Abstract
Steve Jobs success story began in 1976 when he and a friend built the first personal computer. He founded Apple in 1970s; he was the Chairman and CEO of Apple Computers Incorporations until he was fired by the board of directors. He did not let this obstacle stop him. He went and started other businesses and developments in 1984, he developed the Macintosh, which was the first the first small computer with a graphic in its time. In 1985, he start NeXT, a year later he developed Pixar animated studios. At Pixar he held the position as the CEO also. Jobs contracted with Disney producing a number of popular animated films. Among the films were Cars, The Incredible, Toy Story, and A Bug’s Life and Monster Inc. He is certainly one of the world’s most successful businessmen today. Twelve years later after being fired from Apple, Jobs returns as Apple’s CEO. Jobs have changed the way the world think and feel about technology. Steve Jobs is also known for his unconventional leadership. He was a "high-maintenance worker". He expected excellence from both himself and the employees. He was known for his direct criticism stakeholders when he felt was necessary. There is no doubt that Jobs is an exceptional leader.

Case Study: Steve Jobs & Apple
Steve Jobs is known as one of the world’s most influential CEO of all times. He is credited for his leadership at Apple. In 1976, Apple had developed into a major force in the electronic industry because of Jobs and how he led the company. The company’s success has been because of Steve Jobs leadership. He has the personal attributes that are necessary to be a successful leader which are also needed for the organization to be successful. Steve Jobs was determining to be successful even when it meant failing a few times. This was proven when he was fired from CEO at

    Steve Jobs founded Apple as a computer company in 1976 and ran it alongside founders Steve Wozniak, Ronald Wayne and investor Mike Markkula. He was a strong minded visionary and often went against other workers ideas. Many rifts were created within apple because of the disagreements he had with other people about the way projects were being run within the company. Eventually, in 1985 Jobs left Apple after being removed as manager of the Mac project, something he had put together and built up. He acquired Lucasfilm’s animation department Pixar and funded this whilst working on his ‘NeXT’ computer project. He worked at NeXT for a number of years until, in 1995 Apple were convinced by Jobs to buy out his computer company. He then returned to Apple in an informal advisory role at a time when Apple was making the biggest losses since it was founded. In early 1997 after 500 days in the job and over $1 billion in losses the, then CEO was sacked. Jobs agreed to become interim CEO and to take on the responsibility of getting the company back onto the right path. His first move was to dramatically cut the number of products being produced by Apple and focused on a simple matrix structure. He made a laptop for consumer users and a laptop for professional users and the same for desktop computers.
