I. INTRODUCTORY STATEMENT Much has been said about diversity and ‘work-­‐life balance’ in general. With Baxter, a leading global company in the medical industry applies both as its key elements in sustaining a better organization. According to Wikipedia (Wikipedia.org), work-­‐life balance is a concept that includes prioritizing a concept including proper prioritizing between "work" (career and ambition) and "lifestyle" (Health, pleasure, leisure, family and spiritual development/meditation). Related, though broader, terms include "lifestyle calm balance" and "life style choices".

Diversity on the other hand can refer to the variety of differences between people in the company. It may also include variety in race, gender, personality as well as ethnicity of groups among others. The employees of Baxter are considerably privileged since ‘work-­‐life balance’ and likewise
