The two personalities Piet and Robert are very different from each other. Piet is a self-motivator act as an intrinsic individual in the organization. The Robert is high concern about his job and he depends on extrinsic factors. Base on this circumstances Herzberg “two factor theory” is most suitable motivation theory to apply.

According to his theory people were influenced by two factor model of satisfiers and dissatisfies. Dissatisfaction is result of the hygiene factors. The interpersonal relationship, salary, organization administration structure, pleasant working conditions are some of the direct impact to the dissatisfaction. Mean time the motivation factors such as recognition, achievement and personal growth are most important.

however in order to find a method of motivation to both piet and Robert I think we can use behavioral factors like Teamwork, focus on people put people first, Train them improve their skills, Reducing the status differences, Helping employee balance work life conflict, Creating a positive work environment and Obtain a OB citizenship which will affect them
