Carvin Haggins is an American-born, Grammy-nominated producer and songwriter. He began his musical career in the mid 90”s in Philadelphia, under the mentorship of DJ Jazzy Jeff, a veteran DJ, and the other half of legendary duo Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh. Under the tutelage of DJ Jazzy Jeff, Carvin Haggins began developing is skills as a music producer and songwriter. While working at DJ Jazzy Jeff, Touch of Jazz studios led to him working with Jill Scott producing her first album “Who Is Jill Scott? Words and Sounds Vol. 1” a Grammy nominated Album.
