Contract buyer- Corprate Purchasing Manager
As a supply chain management student being a Contract buyer is very appealing, especially when working for a global enterprise like Exova. Being a part of and working with people on a international level in such a fast growing business. Contributing my own personal influence and experience to provide leading retailers and manufacturers with the highest standards. Also ensuring results,providing confidence and helping the world by making a difference. As a Contract buyer I have duties and responisbilities including directing the purchase team in buying the required products, services, machinery, materials either raw or semi finished needed for manufacturing and necessary for the support and operation of the establishment.
Duties include:
Coordinating purchasing staff associated with strategy development and problem resolution.
Help thrive areas such as contract development and the advancement and improvement of vendor consolation.
Establishing new suppliers .
Negotiating and achieving contracts.
Supervising progress and ensuring the establishment and succes of all goals and missions.
Maintaining firm relationships and collaberations with Global Suppy Centers and Suppliers.
Working out issues with operations.
Rate offers and create proposals based on commercial and technical factors.
Confer and transect Capitals spend purchases.
Issuing purchase orders.
Job qualifications include necessary University education requiring College degrees related to Buisness or Supply Chain. Previous experience averaging from 3-5 years in procurement or supply chain and experience in creating suppy strategy and negotiation national and local contracts.
