Career Research Paper
Career and College Research Paper Barbara Kingsolver once said “Close the door. Write with no one looking over your shoulder. Do not try to figure out what other people want to hear from you; figure out what you have to say. It is the one and only thing you have to offer” (“Pinterest”). Most people look at life as if they were typing a paper. In order to get it going first comes the hard part. The hard part is finding what career to write about. For my career, I chose to write about becoming an english double major. I chose this career mostly because I want other kids to have that one teacher that will always be there for them. This career is to help students get ready for their own life outside of high school, make lesson plans, grade work to help monitor progress, and also to help the students learn more about themselves. A person can always make a difference in another person's life but it can take so much more education, time, and understanding in order to impact someone’s life. A teacher in the state of Oklahoma can make about $54,740 a year.(Google.) I noticed that teachers in Dallas can make anywhere from $35,731 to $70,060.(Google.) There is really not that big of a difference, but teachers are one of the lowest paying jobs.There are so many classes needed to get the major, and they work so hard so it is not fair to have to spend so much money and classes just to get a low paying job. Teachers that are retired usually do not get another job. I found out that management is a teacher skill.(Google.) So any job that technically involves management a teacher can do.
