Career Essay On Paint Technician
Ever since I had been a little kid I always had a passion for cars. I just wanted to have the best Hot Wheels around not only the most cool ones but also the ones with the coolest paint job as I grew up and left the Hot Wheels behind I still continued having a passion for cars however I did not have money nor the age to drive, so what I did was I would go to see car shows all over San Diego. This passion of mine lead to finding out about myself about what I really enjoy and what career I want to pursuit. This is not careers I am interested in it is careers that I am going to achieve and I will become. The first and main career I plan to pursue is an Auto body and paint technician. What a auto body and paint technician does is fix cars after they've been damaged in an car crash, rust incidents or other incidents. In addition they use a whole variety of different tools for this career to cut off old parts of a car, connect new parts to the car, fill holes, and repair scratches or dents. Their job is to make the car look like it just came out from the dealer making it look like its best state possible. An auto body and pain technician makes around $26,170 a year which is the minimum and then $72,650 a year which would be consider the maximum. The education that is needed for this career would be a certificate or an associate's degree in auto body repair. Another requirement would be Automotive Service Excellence certificate however this requirement is optional. For this career the estimate job growth would be around 9 percent from 2014-2024 according to the BLS. Anyhow the main reason reason I would like to pursue this career would be because I chose this career as my first choice this career is just amazing in my eyes. The fact that I get to work with cars everyday makes me more than happy but not only that as a hobby I would draw do art I would draw in my freetime and will enjoy it and this combines the two things I would love doing the
