Cardio Vascular Indurance
What is cardiovascular endurance?

Definitions:

To understand the terminology you should know some key words:

Cardio = heart, vascular = related to blood vessels, pulmonary = related to the lungs. It’s the action To lengthen in duration.

* Circulatory system which comprises the heart and blood vessels. The system carries nutrients and Oxygen to the tissues of the body and removes carbon and dioxide and other wastes from them.

Explanations:

How does the Cardio vascular system works?

* Your heart and circulatory system make up your cardiovascular system. * Your heart works as a pump that pushes blood to the organs, tissues, and cells of your body. * Blood delivers oxygen and nutrients to every cell and removes the carbon dioxide and waste products made by those cells. Blood is carried from your heart to the rest of your body in two ways:

1. Systemic Circuit: Arteries carry oxygen-rich blood away from your heart, and veins carry oxygen-poor blood back to your heart.
2. In pulmonary circuit, though, the roles are switched
The cardiovascular system serves five important functions during exercise:
1) Delivers oxygen to working muscles

2) Oxygenates blood by returning it to the lungs

3) Transports heat (a by-product of activity) from the core to the skin

4) Delivers nutrients and fuel to active tissues

5) Transports hormones.

Cardiovascular Endurance:

Cardiovascular Endurance: Is the ability of the heart, blood vessels, and lungs to supply oxygen to working muscles during physical activity for a period of time (usually 90 seconds). It is basically how strong your heart is.

How To Improve Cardiovascular Endurance
Improving cardiovascular endurance is typically just a matter of practice.
Like training your muscles, continuously challenging your cardiovascular system with increased levels of aerobic activity will generally result in gains in cardiovascular endurance and fitness. This can be duration running,

Heart is associated to cardiovascular system, heart is also known as the blood-pump of the body. It pumps blood through the circulatory system to all parts of the body. The blood carries food and oxygen to the cells and carries away carbon dioxide and waste materials. The right hand side of the heart receives de-oxygenated blood from the body tissues, and pumps it to the lungs. The left-hand side of the heart receives oxygenated blood from the lungs and pumps it into the body, so that the oxygen can be delivered to cells.…

The cardiovascular system, also known as the circulatory system, is composed of the heart, blood vessels, and blood. The term cardiovascular refers to the heart (cardio-) and blood vessels (vascular). The term circulatory refers to the circulation of the blood. The heart is a muscular pump and its regular contractions send blood into tough, elastic tubes called arteries, which branch into smaller vessels and convey oxygen-rich blood through the body. The arteries eventually divide into tiny capillaries, which have such thin walls, that oxygen, nutrients, minerals, and other substances pass through to surrounding cells and tissues. Waste substances flow from the tissues and cells into the blood for disposal. The capillaries join and enlarge to create tubes that eventually become veins, which take blood back to the heart. Vessels carrying oxygenated blood (usually arteries) are shown in red and those carrying deoxygenated blood (usually veins) are blue.…

The cardiovascular system consists of the heart, blood and blood vessels. The cardiovascular system is the major transport of materials to and from the cells. Blood is carried from the heart around the body via the arteries and the blood is then carried back to the heart via the veins. The capillaries connect the arteries to the veins; the function of the capillaries is too supply the cells with nutrients and oxygen. The cardiovascular system is responsible for the transport of oxygenated blood around the body. It will transport these to the cells and collect the deoxygenated blood which is ready for the excretion from the cells. The cardiovascular system will deliver the nutrients oxygen and glucose via the blood stream. Oxygen is need for aerobic respiration to occur.…

The heart in the circulatory system pumps blood into the lungs where the blood is oxygenated. The blood is then returned to the heart and the newly oxygenated blood is circulated to the rest of the body. The respiratory system performs a process known as gas exchange that releases carbon dioxide from the body and brings in oxygen.…

The heart is a muscular pump that makes blood around the body through a system of blood vessels (arteries, veins and capillaries). Blood carries dissolved oxygen to the body cells and at the same time removes the waste products of respiration (carbon dioxide and water). Blood is also important in distributing heat around the body, along with hormones,…

The heart is a major organ in the body, this organ pumps blood around the body, through veins, capillaries and arteries. The blood carries oxygen to our cells and also carries waste products which include water and carbon dioxide, which are products of respiration. Blood also helps spread out salts, enzymes, urea, nutrients, hormones and heat across the body.…

The cardiovascular system, also known as the circulatory system, consists of the heart, blood vessels and approximately 5 litres of blood. 55% of the blood is straw coloured yellow and 45% of the blood is made up of red and white blood cells and tiny particles called platelets. This system is powered by the heart and is responsible for transporting oxygen, nutrients, hormones and cellular waste throughout the body. Oxygen is very important to blood and to the cells as it is necessary for cell growth and energy. Red corpuscles (red blood cells) transport oxygen to the body’s cells and carry away carbon dioxide from the cells. Inside the blood there is plasma. The plasma carries minerals, vitamins, sugar and other foods to the body’s cells.…

The circulatory system is the body's transport system. It is made up of a group of organs that transport blood throughout the body. The heart pumps the blood and the arteries and veins transport it. Oxygen-rich blood leaves the left side of the heart and enters the biggest artery, called the aorta. The aorta branches into smaller arteries, which then branch into even smaller vessels that travel all over the body. When blood enters the smallest blood vessels, which are calledcapillaries, and are found in body tissue, it gives nutrients and oxygen to the cells and takes in carbon dioxide, water, and waste. The blood, which no longer contains oxygen and nutrients, then goes back to the heart through veins. Veins carry waste products away from cells and bring blood back to the heart , which pumps it to the lungs to pick up oxygen and eliminate waste carbon dioxide.…

The cardiovascular system (heart, blood, and blood vessels) works together with the RESPIRATORY system (air passages, lungs). As air is breathed in, the blood picks up oxygen from the lungs. The blood carries the oxygen to the heart. The heart pumps the blood into the arteries and on to the muscles and other body cells. Muscle cells need oxygen to keep working. Waste products are given off by the working muscle cells and are then removed by the blood. The veins return the blood containing wastes back to the heart. The heart pumps this returning blood to the lungs where wastes are exchanged for more oxygen, and the process begins all over again. The heart is a muscle and like other muscles, the heart gets stronger through the right kind of exercise. The heart acts as a pump to supply blood to the…
