can money make you happy
Can money buy you happiness?
Money would probably be on the top of everyone’s list of things they desire, along with other things that only money could buy, but does that mean that money will make you happy? Happiness cannot be found in inanimate objects such as a new car or a huge house if you have no one to share it with. Money can lead to lots of lovely things and great opportunities but it can induce greed in a person, it’s like most things if you have too much of it all you want is more. It can become less and less interesting and consequently won’t bring as much happiness.
One thing money can buy is pleasure, with plenty of money it is possible to buy experiences and objects that you particularly desire, things that you would only be able to dream of without a lot of money. It also gives you the opportunity to share these amazing experiences or beautiful objects with people. However there reaches a point where people even become bored of amazing holidays they desire more. Furthermore, despite the fact you can buy an amazing holiday, money cannot buy happy family memories or stop family rows either. Extremely wealthy people tend to lack appreciation causing them to become upset about the smallest matters such as the wine not being quite up to standard or the steak being slightly under done. Often wealthy women and men feel they don’t need to make the effort in relationships because they already have everything that money can buy. This is a false sense of security and research shows that the main reason people feel happy is because they have stable relationships with those they love. The pleasure that favourite objects bring is short lived and probably won’t bring happiness.
Money can cause people to become greedy for more and more money and power. Furthermore money gives people the ability to control others and this is very dangerous, whether it be through jobs or promises of inheritance and other forms of giving money. It is easy for rich people to remain

After reading the passage “Yes, Money can buy happiness,” by John Tierney, explains that people are more often to be happier when they spend money on others rather than spend money on themselves. In my opinion many people believe having more money will make their lives happier and free of all worries. In my life money has provided food, clothing, and shelter our basics needs in life but I came to a conclusion where my satisfactory is not enough. I complain that I need more money and that it will solve all the solution to my problems. But in reality money is never going to be enough to buy my happiness in life, because the more we have the more we need and want. For example, I went shopping to the citadel outlets with my family, less than a few hours I spend about four hundred dollars. I looked at other people and I wish I had more money to spend in order to feel enjoyment and more satisfaction. Then, I look into my partner eyes and say to him, I realize with money you can become selfish, destructive and greedy but on the other hand it can help you discover a world you never knew because we all know money can open the doors to many objects in life. Such as, having the opportunity to explore the world, to have all the materials in life. Furthermore, I do agree that buying does bring happiness to everybody in that moment. After, that I disagree it would bring 100% happiness in life because money does not buy love, passion, pureness, and what life is all about. In the end it all depends on your approach to life and how you see money and the relationship with it.…

More money means you can have what you want and do what you want.” (Dean 2008). For centuries, mankind seeks to answer the question: Can money buy happiness? Therefore psychologists are exploring the relationship between wealth and happiness for decades. They came to the conclusion that money can make people happy if it involves moving from a state of extreme poverty into the middle class, but they do not have a noticeable impact in the future. It means that people feel glad and safe when they have enough of money to satisfy daily needs. It is important to understand, what really makes people happy besides the living routine. Jarod Kintz quotes “I think the key indicator for wealth is not good grades, work ethic, or IQ. I believe it is relationships. My opinion on if money can buy happiness, is that it most certainly can. Plain and to the point if you have more money you can obtain more in the pursuit of happiness. The notion that it can’t is a poor man pacifier to comfort him on his financial situation. I would imagine that the stress level would be significantly lowered or not even applicable do to the financial success achievement. I consider the question to be a quibble because who in there right mind would not be considerably happier if there financial status was ameliorated.…

In fact, according to Co-author Dr. Danilo Garcia who is a researcher at the Sahlgrenska Academy's Centre for Ethics, Law and Mental Health, said, “It's relationships that are most important, not material things, and this is in line with other findings in happiness research” (Dailymail, 2013, para. 4) One of the main reasons of happiness depends on the experiences we had in our lives and on our relationship with friends and families. In fact, I have conducted an online survey where I asked some questions about this matter and one of these questions was (Is money the main factor of happiness?) The result of that question was interesting. Actually, 53 out of 76 which are 69.74 percent answered no; and some of them stated that there many other factors that contribute in making people happier other than money but the most important one is having a good relationship with your friends and family and the experiences that you live with them (Azzuni, 2016). Furthermore, according to Tom Stafford, “One study famously found that people who had big wins on the lottery ended up no happier than those who had bought tickets but didn't win. It seems that as long as you can afford to avoid the basic miseries of life, having loads of spare cash doesn't make you very much happier than having very little” (BBC, 2013,para 2) This study proves the point that you can get happiness by…

In today’s society, we continue to believe the deception that money can buy happiness. I do not believe that money can buy happiness. Many times we look at individuals that are well off, as a lifestyle in which we would like to live. Yet; how often do we hear about celebrities getting a divorce, having trouble with the law and/or, having to enter themselves in drug or alcohol rehab programs? Despite all their money many wealthy individuals experience an empty outlook on life and fail at having a since of meaning. How often do we hear scriptures (from the bible) or philosophers enlightening our society, that money cannot buy ones happiness? It is true that wealth can purchase all kinds of superficial comforts but can you take those superficial purchases with you when you depart this life? This is something that the bible teaches us. It states in the word of God, “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?” (Mark 8:36)…

When money is good and when is it bad? Yes, money is very important for us to survive, for we can buy things that a human is needed for life, money become good when we know how to handle it, share it and save it for the future. If we are able to buy things that we needed that is one way of making us happy, for we can have the money to buy these things. Money being bad if we are focus on it, we do not care where it came from, do not care for the feelings of others, we just prefer to have money. Some people make money as their means of happiness that is really bad: forget the family and the ones they love for they are focusing on money alone and of course money being bad if we do things just to get that money. One thing to remember- balance everything and know what is right from wrong. Money has been everything today. If you earn a lot of money you can stay happy for some extent but not for a long… All you need is satisfaction in your life and money can’t satisfy you fully. Money can’t buy everything it can’t buy friends or love. So, money shouldn’t be given much more importance. A person running after money always falls. Of course it depends on person how she or he values that money. There is a quotation: “Money is not the key to happiness, but the more money you have, the easier it is to get the key made!” Angelo D’Amico. Certainly not, I think people that do not have money I mean the people that are not rich, they think they will be happier when they have a lot of money…
