Our California beaches today have be globalized with business near the beaches, attracting many to come. With those how all visit, many people are inconsiderate of the effects that pollution has in the ecosystem. First of all, many of people are ignorant and don’t care but of themselves. By throwing a piece of wrapper on the floor, the water takes in trash and species like fishes eat the trash and soon die. According to the LA Times, Venice beach has been rated as one of the most dirtiest beach in California. With the annual beach report, it has shown that this beach is full of trash, hard to swim and overall mistreated. This shows how Venice beach might be considered a wealthy neighborhood but the environment is trashed by the same people living near and the visitors. Now, we will analyze why we pollute and explore the possibilities of hypothetically not polluting our beaches. For example, by taking care of our beaches early on, and by having a more constructive/caring mindset of what to do with our waste, we will further be able to prevent humans, as well as marine wildlife from being negatively affected by our arrogance and harmful nature. What is viewed at face value as being non-important (littering, etc.) deeply affects other organisms in a much grander scheme.
