Business Features Of Good Friends Restaurant And Cafe
This report is the result of general research conveyed by students of Taylor’s University Business School to study the business features of Good Friends restaurant and café. The topic was carried out with an interview and online research for over a period of two weeks. Dr. Saroja Dhanapal has authorized a group assignment report for Business Communication students who are currently in their first semester of August 2014. The purpose of this report is to outline operations of the business and challenges it encounter daily. Recommendations are proposed after analysing the problems faced by the business entrepreneur. Besides, Good Friends has a reputational for its quality and service. Hence, it is an excellent choice to focus on how a successful restaurants and café managed to succeed despite stiff competition among restaurants and café around the vicinity. Students are required to write an analytical business report as part of Business Communication module.
The purpose of this report is to analyze the operation of a business setting of Good Friends and assist students in improving their business communication skills as live interview was conducted with the businessman. In addition, there are several possible benefits can be obtained such as enhancing the knowledge of doing business and what it takes to become successful in a business industry. Additionally, specialized knowledge can be learned from the report to act as a guide and lead business get through difficulties. Therefore, a good product represents a bright business future in the industry. Good Friends produces a desired product with an outstanding design to differ products with other competitors by using the logo as part of the food design.
Customer choice of product is not based on price or appearance but rather on the palate and quality Good Friends ensures product quality through staffs training process in order to produce a good quality food according to needs of the customer. Good Friends’ sources of food are top quality by ordering from a good quality supplier, providing wide range of dishes.
Price is vital to business operation as it states the cost of a product by recording sales. Businessmen are the ones who determine the price to charge for each product. Good Friends usually mark up 3 or 4 times the cost of price. Customers’ opinions are according to price, quality and value
Good Friends believes that quality and value of product target customers more than price. Therefore, Good Friends’ prices are one of the highest compared to other
