An Ideal Business English Class

English, a language spoken nearly by all individuals today, for those who can’t speak it, well, they are mostly intrigued by it and wish to learn it. A language is well learnt and adapted by one if he or she is a part of an environment in which it is spoken, written, read, given thought and innovatively used. English is a widely used language in many types of environments, which brings us to the topic at hand, the business environment. Business English refers to the form and context of English used in a business environment, English used by Business men has technicalities of its own i.e. the terms used in Business English are not commonly spoken, therefore an individual, who has considerable skill in English language in general, may have problems understanding high class business individuals. Learning business English requires a good business environment; there are a lot of things one can learn in class but if a class provides environment it will prove most helpful in the learning process, the main aspect of an Ideal English class is a good English teacher, a good teacher inspires his or her students towards the subject taught, in this case inspiration towards language. An environment includes anything seen, heard, tangible and should be comprehendible, good inspiring books, articles, audios, videos related to business English are all substantial elements which will help create the class more interesting. Being taught is one this, appraisal is another, the main concept of a class is to help an individual progress in the particular subject, progress can be well achieved by assessment, group activities, and feedback among one another and with the teacher, students must be restricted to speaking the language being taught in class.     Students attend college for the main purpose of receiving a degree and obtaining a job. If poor grammar is inhibiting students from getting a job after college, grammatical principles of writing should be more heavily emphasized within the college curriculum. But, do employers even care about the level of grammatical ability their applicants have? To find the answer to this question, it was important to consider how employers in the professional world feel about grammatical ability and how it varies from profession to profession. Reading articles about grammar in the workplace, analyzing blogs posted by employers, and conducting interviews with employers were the main methods we used to research this question. Articles provided a general idea of how poor grammar affects productivity in the workplace. Additionally, blogs posted by employers showed how poor grammar reflects negatively on the applicant’s intelligence.     Report on business English provides a critical review and evaluation of literature for foreign and secondary language users in business. The author of this report has not included the entire component required in a universal research report format. For instance, the author did not include the abstract as it is in universal research form. The abstract, in this case, was not relevant because the author discussed what the report entails in the summary. The author has the review section so that the most senior personnel who do not have time to go through the whole story will read through. In the summary, there is very clear and precise information in the summary section about the problem or aspect of the business that the report is analyzing. The author did not also include the appendix where the information that supports to arguments used in the report.
