Chapter 01 Introduction

1.1 Introduction

In this modern era of business, success in achieving organizational and inter-organizational goals has become very much strategic. The business organizations are developing themselves very gradually, including their policies and communication techniques. So business firms over the world need to establish and maintain an effective communication network with the parties related to the business using modern technology. Modern technology as in electronic media used in communication undoubtedly helps to communicate effectively to fulfill the expectations of the organization. Nowadays communication with the internal and external parties has become greatly dependent on Electronic Media. Advancement in information technology has paved the way of introducing newly innovated techniques in communication. And these modern technologies are being used to enhance the communication of an organization. If all these electronic media in communication can be used effectively, organizational goal can be easily achieved.

1.2 Objective of the Report

We prepare this report for showing use of technology in modern communication. Other objectives of the report are as follows;
To know what is electronic communication.
To know the importance of technology in the field of modern communication.
To know what are the media of electronic communication used in oral and written communication.
To know the business related software and their uses.
To know the implementation of the subject knowledge in real life situation etc.

1.3 Scope of the Report

The scope of this report paper is limited to the information about the modern technology. We have no scope to explore the field of technology efficiently. We gather the information and analyze them. If had the real life experience, is hoped to be even better than now.

    The organization that I will be discussing in this paper will be the real estate firm. The firm receives inquiries on real estate sales and listing through referrals and inquires from advertising.     Communication is an aspect of everything that humans do, and how well we communicate often majorly impacts how successful we are in life. According to Baack (2012) “Communication may be defined as transmitting, receiving, and processing information”.
