BURGER MACHINE

INTRODUCTION

Trying out Burgers at Burger machine is really easy; they are almost available in most common places where there are big places for a stall along highways and main roads around metro manila. Burger machine offers the cheapest alternatives to Fast food burgers. Their product is much cheaper, and you can sort of customize your burgers. The burgers they offer are in a hamburger bun (more commonly found in local bakeries or pastry shops) and their burgers are a bit thinner than that of the fast food. Burger Machine also offers sans rival. This is a type of a layered butter cake, with lots or nuts, tastes more like coming from a bakeshop than a burger stand. Prices in burger machine are reasonable, you can also request the attendant to put more stuffs in your burger. As they are often a stall along the side streets, most of the stalls are 24 hours, or are open until late time. This makes it really convenient for people who might be craving a burger late at night.

History of Burger Machine

It was created in 1981 by Fe Esperanza S. Rodriguez and a sister who both planned to turn two old small buses into mobile stores, an idea they adapted from America. It was their fondness for hamburgers that inspired them to make a business that would serve for the masses. The stores were then opened near two gas stations in Quezon City. They all began with a capital of P40, 000 with nearly two dozen employees working continuously. This non-stop service earned Burger Machine the nickname of "the burger that never sleeps."
A year later, a third store was opened. The company was nationally recognized. In 1990, the Corporate Office in EDSA started and was called EDSA Business Unit. It was also in this year when the Food and Nutrition Research Institute of the Department of Science and Technology confirmed their burgers as “source of the most nutrients in terms of peso value compared to other leading hamburger chains.”

Eventually outgrowing that location, they moved the stand to San Bernadino. Realizing that hamburgers were their most popular product, the brothers reinvented their restaurant in 1948 using a concept that was similar to a factory production line. They called their system Speedee Service. This system was unique to the fast food industry.
