Bullying and Incredibly High Percentage

Bullying
Bullying happens every day all around the world. Victims of bullying are hit, pushed, & harassed. We need to take action and provide programs on bullying to decrease the rates of bullying in schools. Bullying can be traumatizing and can really effect you in the future.
Students suffer from being humiliated at school. “Bullying is comprised of direct behaviors such as teasing, taunting, threatening, hitting and stealing that are initiated by one or more students against a victim” (Banks). These are the many types of bullying. These types of torture may not be acknowledged like they should be. "More bullies hunt others in order to feel power and strong at a given moment” (Kuther). Bullies probably have the need to feel in control due to the lack of self- esteem. Bullying is a worldwide problem and people need to realize that. Not everyone would be able to spot a bully. Most bullies are not truly bullies, some may lack in involvement in love so they take their anger out on victims.
Most bullies don’t understand the hurt it brings to the victim. Many people assume that “the child who bullies typically is bigger, older, stronger, or more popular than the victim of bullying and his or her intent is to exert power over the victim” (Kuther). Bullying isn’t the way to solve problems. The majority of bullies tend attach a victim as a source of comfort and with the right help, they can learn to control their emotions. Sometime bullies are taught to strike back physically as a way to handle situations. This is where parents need to take action and get involved fast. Teaching them how to express their emotions without anger intended.
Everyone knows that victims who are bullied during school can never enjoy, but does bullying affect them afterwards? Shocking facts show that “children who are bullied often tell no one about their misery out of shame, fear of retaliation and feeling of hopelessness”
