Bugsy Siegel, the man who made Vegas’ past might be an interesting thing to read about. Although leaning about Bugsy Siegel is not an important part of anyone’s education because he did not do anything to change the world to be a better place. Overall Bugsy found a new way to make money and he found a way to use it, so he did.
Effects that Bugsy Siegel accomplished was basically finding a way to make gambling addictive by making it worth money (U.S. History in Context). To complete this goal, he made the first ever hotel/casino. This hotel was named the Flamingo hotel and was the first of its kind. There were several attempts made on his life until on June 20 in 1947 (U.S. History in Context) someone finally succeeded in the murder of Bugsy Siegel. The murder is still unsolved and there is no real evidence. The only known facts about his death is that he was shot in the head three times. Many people believe his death had something to do with his affair or the type of business he was in (http://articles.latimes.com). To this day his murder is still unsolved and the killer is unknown.
